Uchida technique

Uchida technique [Hajime Uchida, Japanese physician, 1921–1996] , a method of tubal ligation with injection of saline solution beneath the tubal mucosa to separate it from the underlying tube. A portion of mucosa is removed, and the mucosa-free tube then retracts to form a stump that is closed with sutures.
