thiazine-eosinate stain

thiazine-eosinate stain, any of a group of neutral stains used in hematology and histology that combine an eosin dye, usually eosin Y, as the anionic component and one or more thiazine dyes as the cationic component. The prototype is the Romanovsky’s stain.
