taboparesis

taboparesis /tā′bōpərē″sis/ [L, tabes, wasting; Gk, paralyein, to be palsied] , a form of paralysis associated with psychosis in patients with untreated syphilis in the tertiary stage. Also called taboparalysis. See also paresis, def. 2, neurosyphilis.
