septooptic dysplasia /sep′tō·op′tik dis·plā′zhə/ , a congenital syndrome of hypoplasia of the optic disc with other ocular abnormalities, absence of the septum pellucidum, and hypopituitarism leading to growth deficiency. Also called de Morsier’s syndrome.
