sensitivity

sensitivity /sen′sitiv″itē/ [L, sentire] , 1. capacity to feel, transmit, or react to a stimulus. 2. susceptibility to a substance, such as a drug or an antigen. See also allergy, hypersensitivity. 3. the lowest level of a substance that can be detected by a laboratory test procedure.
