secondary enuresis

secondary enuresis [L, secundus, second; Gk, enourein, to urinate] , enuresis in an older child who has demonstrated bedtime control for a year or more. It is typically the result of psychological stress but also may be an early sign of an organic disorder, such as diabetes mellitus.
