Schultz-Charlton phenomenon

Schultz-Charlton phenomenon, a reaction that occurs when scarlet fever antitoxin or scarlet fever convalescent serum is injected into an area of the skin showing a bright red rash. A blanching of the skin at the site of the injection occurs. Serum from scarlet fever patients does not produce this reaction.
