radarkymography /rā′därkīmog″rəfē/ [radar + Gk, kyma, wave, graphein, to record] , a technique for showing the size and outline of the heart that uses a radar tracking device and a fluoroscopic screen to display images produced by electrical impulses passed over the chest surface.
