pseudoainhum /so̅o̅″do·īn′yoom/ , ringlike constrictions around the digits, limbs, or trunk, occurring both congenitally and in association with a wide variety of hereditary and nonhereditary disorders. The most severe cases of congenital pseudoainhum result in autoamputation in utero.
