plexus

plexus /plek′səs/ pl. plexuses [L, braided] , a network of intersecting nerves and blood vessels or of lymphatic vessels. The body contains many plexuses, such as the brachial plexus, the cardiac plexus, the cervical plexus, and the solar plexus.
