Paul-Bunnell test

Paul-Bunnell test [John R. Paul, American physician, 1893–1971; Walls W. Bunnell, American physician, 1902–1966] , an old term for a blood test for heterophil antibodies, used for confirming a diagnosis of infectious mononucleosis. See also heterophil antibody test.
