parkinsonian tremor

parkinsonian tremor [James Parkinson; L, tremor, shaking] , a mild resting tremor with slow, regular oscillations of three to six per second, exacerbated by fatigue, cold, or emotion. The tremors usually, but not always, cease during voluntary movement of the affected part and during sleep. Also called pill-rolling tremor.
