oxyhemoglobin

oxyhemoglobin /ok′sēhē″məglō′bin, -hem″-/ [Gk, oxys + genein, to produce, haima, blood; L, globus, ball] , the product of combining hemoglobin with oxygen. The loosely bound complex dissociates easily when the concentration of oxygen is low. Also spelled oxyhaemoglobin.
