osseointegrated implant /os′ē·ō·in′tegrātəd/ [Gk, osteon, bone; L, integrare, to make whole] , an endosteal implant containing pores into which osteoblasts and supporting connective tissue can migrate, made of metallic, ceramic, or polymeric materials. Also called osteointegrated implant.
