Neisseriaceae

Neisseriaceae /nī′serē·ā″si·ē/ [Albert L.S. Neisser] , a family of four genera of gram-negative aerobic cocci and rod-shaped bacteria occurring singly or in pairs, chains, or clusters. They are saprophytic or parasitic. The genera are Actinobacter, Kingella, Moraxella, and Neisseria.
