nanophthalmos

nanophthalmos /nā′nofthal″məs, nan′-/ [Gk, nanos + ophthalmos, eye] , the condition in which one or both eyes are abnormally small, although other ocular defects are not present. Also called nanophthalmia. See also microphthalmos.
