myelography /mī′əlog″rəfē/ [Gk, myelos + graphein, to record] , a radiographic process by which the spinal cord and the spinal subarachnoid space are viewed and photographed after the introduction of a contrast medium. It is used to identify and study spinal lesions caused by trauma or disease. −myelographic, adj.
