multiphasic screening

multiphasic screening /-fā″sik/ [L, multus + phasis, appearance; ME, scren] , a technique of screening populations for diseases that combines a battery of screening tests. The technique serves to identify any of several diseases being screened for in a population that is apparently healthy.
