microdactyly

microdactyly /mī′krōdak″təlē/ [Gk, mikros + dactylos, finger] , a developmental defect characterized by abnormal smallness of the fingers and toes. The condition is usually associated with bone and muscle disorders, such as progressive myositis ossificans.
