INDICATIONS: It is prescribed as an adjunct in the treatment of acute skeletal muscle spasm. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Significantly impaired renal or hepatic function, susceptibility to drug-induced hemolytic anemia, or known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use. ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the more serious adverse effects are hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, and liver dysfunction. GI disturbances, dizziness, and nervousness may occur.
