CONTRAINDICATIONS: Newborns and lactating mothers are not given this drug. Asthma or known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the more serious adverse effects are drowsiness, skin rash, hypersensitivity reactions, dry mouth, tachycardia, and nervousness.
