mandibular nerve

mandibular nerve, the largest of the three branches of the trigeminal nerve. Its branches innervate the ear, the cheek, the skin and mucous membrane of the lower lip, the skin of the chin, the teeth and related gingivae, the tongue, and the muscles of the cheek and jaw.
