mammothermography

mammothermography /mam′ōthərmog″rəfē/ [L, mamma + Gk, therme, heat, graphein, to record] , a diagnostic procedure in which the breast is examined for abnormal growths by means of a heat-sensitive probe that detects regional differences in blood flow. Compare mammography. See also thermography.
