lycopenemia

lycopenemia /lī′kōpēnē″mē·ə/ , a condition characterized by a high concentration of the carotenoid pigment lycopene in the blood, the result of ingesting large amounts of tomato products and other lycopene-rich fruits. Lycopenemia patients may develop a yellowish skin color. This term is not in common usage.
