lazy leukocyte syndrome, an immunodeficiency disease of children characterized by recurrent stomatitis, gingivitis, otitis media, and low-grade fever with severe neutropenia. The condition has been associated with abnormal chemotaxis by leukocytes. It is treated with normal human serum transfusions.
