Kraske position

Kraske position /kras″kə/ [Paul Kraske, Swiss surgeon, 1851–1930] , an anatomical position in which the patient is prone, with hips flexed and elevated, head and feet down. The position is most frequently used for rectal surgery. Also called jackknife position.
