Korányi’s sign

Korányi’s sign /kôr″ənyēz/ [Friedrich von Korányi, Hungarian physician, 1828–1913; L, signum] , a paravertebral area of dullness found posteriorly on the side opposite a pleural effusion. Also called Grocco’s sign, Grocco’s triangle, triangular dullness, Korányi-Grocco triangle.
