Janeway lesion

Janeway lesion /jān″wā/ [Edward G. Janeway, American physician, 1841–1911; L, laedere, to injure] , a small, painless erythematous or hemorrhagic macule on the palms or soles. It is diagnostic of subacute bacterial endocarditis.
