intraductal carcinoma

intraductal carcinoma [L, intra + ductus, duct] , a neoplasm that occurs most often in the breast but can occur elsewhere, as in the salivary glands. The lesion on cross section usually shows well-differentiated tumor cells in calcified and dilated ducts.
