hypoalbuminemia

hypoalbuminemia /-albo̅o̅′minē″mē·ə/ , a condition of abnormally low levels of albumin in the blood. It may occur in celiac disease, tropical sprue, malnutrition, and some forms of liver or kidney impairment. Also spelled hypoalbuminaemia.
