hyperlipidemia

hyperlipidemia /-lip′idē″mē·ə/ [Gk, hyper + lipos, fat, haima, blood] , an excess of lipids, including glycolipids, lipoproteins, and phospholipids, in the plasma. Also spelled hyperlipidaemia. See also antilipidemic.
