heads-up tilt table test (HUTT)

heads-up tilt table test (HUTT), a method of evaluating patients with neurocardiac syncope. After baseline signs are recorded with the patient in the supine position, the patient is tilted to an 80-degree angle for 30 minutes, or until neurocardiac syncope signs appear.
