growth hormone–releasing hormone (GH-RH)

growth hormone–releasing hormone (GH-RH), a neuropeptide released by the hypothalamus that travels to the anterior pituitary to stimulate growth hormone release. Also called somatocrinin, somatoliberin, somatotropin-releasing hormone.
