genetic death

genetic death, 1. the failure of an organism to survive as a result of its genetic makeup. 2. the removal of an allele or genotype from the gene pool of a population or from a given familial descent because of the sterility, failure to reproduce, or death before sexual maturity of all individuals bearing that allele or genotype.
