Fleischner method

Fleischner method /flīsh″nər/ [Felix Fleischner, American radiologist, 1893–1969] , a technique for producing lordotic x-ray projections of the lungs. The patient leans backward from the waist to a nearly 45-degree posterior inclination with his or her back against the x-ray film.
