ectrosyndactyly /ek′trōsindak″təlē/ [Gk, ektrosis + syn, together, daktylos, finger] , a congenital anomaly characterized by the absence of some but not all of the digits, with those that are formed webbed so as to appear fused. Also called ectrosyndactylia.
