dubnium (Db) [Joint Institute for Nuclear Research at Dubna, Russia] , a transuranic element. Its atomic number is 105; the mass of its best-known isotope is 260. It is produced by an induced nuclear reaction. Also called element 105. Formerly called hahnium.
