crossed amblyopia

crossed amblyopia [L, crux, cross; Gk, amblys, dull, ops, eyes] , a visual disorder in which the patient is unable to see on one side of the visual field, associated with hemianesthesia of the opposite side of the body. Also called amblyopia cruciata.
