crista obliqua

crista obliqua, an elevated crest of variable prominence, consisting jointly of the triangular ridge of the distobuccal cusp and the distal ridge of the mesiolingual cusp. It courses obliquely across the occlusal surface of the maxillary molars to link the apices of the distobuccal and the mesiolingual cusps.
