conjugate paralysis

conjugate paralysis [L, conjugere, to yoke together; Gk, paralyein, to be palsied] , a condition of paralysis of the conjugate movements of the two eyes, up or down, or to the right or left. There is no diplopia. The cause is a cranial nerve lesion.
