cerebral blood flow (CBF), 1. the blood supply to the brain in a given period of time. CBF is determined by blood viscosity, cerebral vascular resistance (CVR), and cerebral perfusion pressure (CPP). CBF=CPP/CVR 2. the circulation of blood through the vascular system of the brain.
