brachial plexus

brachial plexus [Gk, brachion + L, braided] , the plexus that innervates the upper limb, formed by the anterior rami of cervical spinal nerves C5 to C8 and T1. It is initially formed in the neck and continues through the axillary inlet into the axilla. See also plexus.
