bone marrow infusion

bone marrow infusion, (Nontechnical) a method of injecting a fluid substance through an aspiration needle directly into the marrow cavity of a long bone when intravenous access is not possible. The substance is absorbed into the general circulation almost immediately. Also called intraosseous infusion.
