antianaphylaxis

antianaphylaxis /-an′əfilak″sis/ [Gk, anti, against, ana, back, phylaxis, protection] , a procedure to prevent anaphylactic reactions by injecting a patient with small desensitizing doses of the antigen. Also called allergy immunotherapy.
