cholecystokinin test (CCK test)

cholecystokinin test (CCK test), a test to assess gallbladder function. After IV administration of cholecystokinin, the resultant pancreatic secretion of amylase, trypsin, and lipase is measured by collection through a tube in the duodenum. Compare CCK-HIDA scan.
