-cephalus [Gk, kephale, head] , 1. suffix meaning an abnormal condition of the head, as indicated by the stem to which the ending is attached, such as hydrocephalus. 2. suffix indicating an individual having an abnormal condition of the head, especially a congenital anomaly of the fetus, such as dicephalus.
