Binswanger’s disease

Binswanger’s disease /bin′swäng·ərz/ [Otto Binswanger, German neurologist, 1852–1929] , a degenerative dementia of presenile onset caused by thinning of the subcortical white matter of the brain; some have attributed it to sclerotic changes of blood vessels. Associated with multiple subcortical strokes.
