urinary frequency

urinary frequency, frequent urination or urgency without an increase in the total daily volume of urine. The condition may result from a bladder or urethral infection, a diminished bladder capacity, or other structural abnormalities. See also cystitis, cystocele, ureterocele, urethritis, urethrocele.
