Tyzeka

Tyzeka, an antiviral that is a synthetic analog of the naturally occurring nucleic acid thymine. When substituted into the growing strand of viral DNA, the molecule causes termination of the strand’s elongation and decreases viral replication within the cell. Brand name for telbivudine.
