Stargardt’s macular degeneration

Stargardt’s macular degeneration, an autosomal-recessive type of eye disorder affecting the retina, usually occurring from 6 to 20 years of age and marked by abnormal pigmentation and other changes in the macular area with rapid loss of visual acuity.
